WHAT IS AN ELOPEMENT?

An elopement is you + your lover’s wedding day. Take away all of the stress, the fuss, the coordinating, the costs, and the guests… :) Strip a traditional wedding down to its most basic form - a ceremony where you declare your love and commit to each other + some sort of a celebration after - and that is an elopement! Your day can look however YOU want it too, and that is why I find elopements so beautiful! It can be in your parents backyard, in the mountains, at a national park, or on the beach - anywhere that feels right for you! You can have your friends + family there, but everything is more relaxed and more about you! 

Think of it as the most epic date (of all time). You get to dress up in a suit and wedding dress, read letters + vows, and get killer photos! 

Maybe you don’t like the idea of planning a big wedding, and an elopement is perfect for you because you can plan as little or as much as you want! It could be as simple as having a photographer (me!!) and a florist. There is no set of rules, expectations, or pressure that come with eloping, it is truly a day centered on your love being celebrated - in whatever way fits you and your style! 

Maybe you feel nervous and anxious about being in front of hundreds of people, an elopement can be as big or as little as you wish! Want it to be just you + your love? I can be your witness! Want to invite closest family members, that’s great! Want to have 30 of your most favorite people, let’s do it! Size doesn’t matter, all that matters is love! 

Maybe you are just a spontaneous person, and to you I say LET’S GO ON AN ADVENTURE! Elopements are so freeing! You want to get fast food after the ceremony? Want to get pictures in multiple locations? Want to bring your dog? There is no guideline on what you have to do - it is your day, so let’s keep it that way!!

I'm Nicole!

I'm a wedding photographer who specializes and absolutely adores adventurous elopements & intimate weddings.

I believe that life is kinda like an adventure - oh yeah and I’m addicted to traveling and exploring new places with awesome people & finding incredible views!

I’ve grown up doing anything + everything outdoors - so let’s find that perfect spot for you!

Out of all the adventures I’ve had, I really truly love getting to witness two people commit to spending the rest of their lives loving each other in amazing, jaw dropping locations!

WHY WOULD I WANT FULL COVERAGE OF MY INTIMATE WEDDING DAY?

This is not your typical, exhausting, and staged photo shoot. 

Nay, nay. This is your wedding day! If you've seen my photos you know that I celebrate the in-between moments, and your day is going to be full of sweet, playful & intimate moments. Just think of me as your documentary "fly on the wall" photographer who is there to capture YOU TWO being you and having one of the best days of your lives. I want to tell the whole story of your incredible wedding day- which is why I don't offer just a few "quick pics" for your elopement day- you two deserve so much more!

All the traditional wedding moments don’t have to be lost in an elopement - you can include all of the things that are important to you! You can still have those sweet moments of you, your sister, your bestie and mom getting ready together, of them buttoning up your dress, of your first look with your parents. These in-between moments that are part of a wedding can still be a part of an elopement. You still might want to have a small celebration with some friends and family for dinner and a cake, and maybe you are still gonna dance!

 And I am here to capture it all, not just your “I do’s”!
