Red Rocks Canyon
Location: Colorado SpringsThis location has it all – red rock formations, desert views, mountain views, grassland and a lake. It has a Sedona, AZ feel mixed with the classic beauty of Colorado!
Paint Mines
Location: Calhan, Near Colorado SpringsAn out of this world location with beautiful yellows, pinks, and purple layers in the rock formations! The variety of colors in the rock, while very distinct, make for a unique and soft background for your ceremony + portraits. As opposed to some of Colorado’s stunning red rock formations, this park offers creamy + pastel colors you’ll want to see for yourself!
Loveland Pass
Location: West of Denver, at the Continental Divide Endless mountains that are larger than life in the background? Check. & It does require an easy hike up to get the best views. Depending on the time of year, it will be a glistening white that looks magical because everything is covered in snow, or it will be deep layers of neutral dusty browns, or it will be lush + green and coming to life!
Boreas Pass
Location: Near Breckenridge on the Continental DivideIf you want a fall elopement, this is the place for you! The best time for this location is in the fall right as the leaves change color because…it’s gold. literally. The road to the pass is lined with trees that turn to a golden yellow that is unmatched and incredible. The bright yellow, with dabbles of reds, and bright blue sky looks like a painting come to life!
Sapphire Pointe Overlook
Location: DillonThe backdrop for this location is a huge lake (Dillon Reservoir) + layers of mountains + then wide open sky. A dynamic trio if you will? In the winter, it looks like a perfect snowy winter wonderland. In the summer it offers stunning blue water + beautiful green trees and mountains. Plus, it is one of the few places that offers year round elopements!
Lake Dillion/Dillon Reservoir
Location: Dillon – Snake TrailIf you love the location above, but want to be ON the lake, this is the place for you. The same beautiful blue water surrounded by trees and mountains but because of this new perspective, on a good day you see the beautiful landscape reflected in the water!
Echo Lake Park
Location: EvergreenThis lake is at the base of Mount Evans and is another beautiful location with a lake that is surrounded by a mix of aspen, balsam, spruce, and pine trees and the mountains in the distance. At the base of Mount Evans.
Maroon Bells
Location: Snowmass, Near AspenOne of the most photographed places in Colorado, with good reason because this place is beautiful. It is open for summer season. Rent the amphitheater and get all the perks the park has to offer, plus access to tourist + hiker free areas for your ceremony because the spot is not on the mains trails + is completely private. Weekends are basically off-limits, so weekday elopements are your option here!
Lake Isabelle
Location: Ward, Near BoulderThe view from this lake is phenomenal, as it is located in a valley of mountains offering big alpine views. This is a relatively small lake but it is stunning.
Lost Gulch Lookout
Location: BoulderThis spot is up at a lookout on Flagstaff Mountain and the view is a sea of tree-filled mountains. This is the perfect place for a sunrise or sunset ceremony because the whole sky is visible and offers the most magical golden light.
